The HCS Navy now has 2 submarines, CNSS Seawolf has entered service following an extended set of sea trials (which were marred by a fatal accident that killed 2 sailors in December, though the HCSN are not revealing any details about this).
Seawolf was designed and built with the help of the Sirikwanese and is the first of a number of new generation submarine designs including the Warhammer SSB, Sealion SSN and Walrus SSBN. Compared to the legacy submarine CNSS Tinfish Seawolf is larger and more advanced and is equipped with torpedoes and SS-NS-3 anti-ship missiles. From 2113 it is expected to carry a new cruise missile for land attack too.
The second ship CNSS Porpoise and the missile test submarine CNSS Warhammer are expected to enter service next month.
