The Isometric fleet is to receive an update over the next few weeks. Of course the fleet is in the middle of a major update programme the ILU but Isometric 2110 Update A will bring earlier ILUs up to the current standard (mostly software changes).
One notable update will be Combat Link-ISO. This allows 2-4 Isometrics to link their sensors and weapon systems to become, in effect, one larger virtual ship and also link up with a Missileer to use it's vast ammunition load. Combat Link was tested on some Panthers last year but this will be the first production use of the new technology. The attack system will also be upgraded to iSAS-ISO2 with improved support for MRM and improved ground targeting sensors. Finally the IWC will be upgraded adding offensive info-weapon capability.
Ships yet to receive their ILU will not be updated as most of the changes depend on data architecture changes as a result of the ILU. New ILUs will have all these updates included of course.
