With the alert status raised to double yellow and the threat of war with the Bolitic seemingly imminent DDS personnel have been showing concern for a future conflict. The Orchid addressed the entire DDS earlier today and said this:
"Fellow DDSers, i know many of you are concerned about the prospect of war with a powerful race of brutal and savage reptilian warriors who live only for endless combat, death and war and seek to drown humanity in an ocean of blood.
"Your DDS is ready, our warships are the most advanced in the galaxy with weapons like TPM-2 and Z6 that are beyond those of our enemies like the Bolitic. If war comes then we will fight with professionalism, skill and quiet resolve. The New DDS Army is fast growing and is ready to defend our bases. Our Dino and other allies are ready with us and we will face down the Bolitic hoards. The Bolitic will not win. The DDS will prevail as we did against the Tarbotians and Utrek."
