Oeirkan sentenced to life imprisonment

The former head of the 6th Legion, unmasked as a traitor during the original Terrasaur Wars and who killed a co-conspirator, Legate Oeirkan was found guilty in a military court earlier today. Oeirkan was initially sentenced to death though this was commuted to life imprisonment by Censor Ronald. Oeirkan has also been kicked out of the Dino Army.

Ronald said that this was a sad day. He said he accepted Oeirkan's reasoning why he sold information to the Terrasaurs (for desperately needed money) though could not forgive. Oeirkan is likely to live out his sentence at a maximum security military prison on Xi. He will not be eligible for parole for fifty years.

Head of the 6th Legion arrested for treason and murder!

In a shocking development Legate Oeirkan, the head of the 6th Legion (Ronald's honour guard), has been arrested for treason and murder. The treasonous acts are thought to date back decades to early in Ronald's reign as Emperor during the first war with the Terrasaurs. One unconfirmed report states that Oeirkan took money to provide information to the Terrasaurs which resulted in over a hundred Dino Army deaths.

The murder charge is recent though no details are forthcoming. Oeirkan is now in SS custody. Tribune Bite, officially Oeirkan's deputy, has been named the new head of the 6th Legion though, as he is on Pulsin leading anti-terror operations against the Mosk, Senator Krusty has been put in temporary charge of the Legion.

Dinos share subspace mining technology with New Sparta

Although the Terrasaurs have not yet used their subspace cloaking technology yet against the Raegris it remains a potential threat. The Dinos have decided to share their subspace mine and detection technology with New Sparta. Senator Krusty has met with Dr Forbidden and handed over full details of the technology. A team of Dino scientists will also assist NS in understanding and integrating the technology into their own systems.

NS said they will share the technology with the Raegris though it may be a number of months before NS is able to deploy it.

Terrasaurs launch major attack into Raegris space

The Raegris are reporting a major attack beginning by the Terrasaurs into their space. Around forty Terrasaur warships, in two fleets are approaching the South of Raegris space, either side of the Nemoka system. The Raegris are assembling their fleet and plan to engage the Terrasaurs near Nemoka.

Windy's NS detachment is still two days away from Raegris space. President Torus has raised the NS alert status to ORANGE.

25.2.22

Raegris ship destroyed by Terrasaurs

A Raegris DF-1 (Isometric) warship has engaged three Terrasaur ships near the outlying Raegris system of Korik. The Terrasaur ships were disabling a Raegris subspace listening station, a key part of their early warning defences in that part of their territory. The DF-1 is reported to have destroyed one Terrasaur ship but was overwhelmed and lost with all crew.

The Terrasaurs destroyed the listening station and withdrew. The Raegris have dispatched a task force to the Korik system. Another task force of NS ships is due to depart today to reinforce the Raegris commanded by Protector Windscorpion.

22.2.22

Windy to lead task force to assist Raegris

President Torus has ordered a task force to depart for the Raegris space as soon as possible to help the NS ally against the growing Terrasaur fleet. NS Protector Windscorpion will command the task force which will depart on Friday. The fleet is expected to consist of four cruisers and two destroyers along with support.

Torus has also raised the NS alert status to AMBER.

Raegris patrol attacked by Terrasaurs

A two-ship Raegris patrol has been attacked by a trio of Terrasaur warships on the edge of Raegris space. One of the Raegris ships, a DF-1 (Isometric), was badly damaged in the short battle. The Terrasaurs withdrew after three more Raegris ships approached. The Raegris report two of the Terrasaur ships suffered significant damage. One had to be towed away.

The Raegris have requested NS help to patrol their space.

19.2.22

Raegris report two Terrasaur skirmishes

The Raegris have reported their patrols have encountered Terrasaur ships twice this week, on both occaisions the Terrasaur ship was violating Raegris space and opened fire when challenged. In neither case did any meaningful damage occur during the brief skirmish, the Terrasaur ships withdrawing after a brief exchange of weapons fire.

The Raegris have increased patrols along their border. President Torus is to speak with the Raegris government next week. NS may send a task force to help strengthen Raegris patrols.

Dinos expect long-term presence on Voth and Apasarra

Despite the victory in the war against the Terrasaurs, the Dino Empire expects the threat from the Terrasaurs to be long-term. Censor Ronald said, "Emperor Rumble will not give up so quickly, he will send another force at some stage, a new plan. The Dinos, the DTA and the Bolitic must be ready."

Ronald said he had been in talks with Emperor Melson and the Bolitic have agreed to maintain a permanent squadron of ships at Apasarra as well as a legion of troops. They will be backed up by a Dino Army legion and Voth Army troops. Voth will also be host to a legion of Dino Army troops and Dinomarks. All Dino and Bolitic troops will be under the direct control of a Viceroy whom Ronald has appointed. El Diablo will serve as Viceroy for the next year, it is expected a Bolitic will take over for the following year.

Clones furious over use of Clone technicians in CSM attack

The Clone Star Empire has responded angrily to the news CSM launchers manned by Clone technical advisors were used in the Dino attack on the Terrasaurs. The Clones said the advisors were threatened and coerced by Dino SS troops to carry out the attack. The Clones said that they were not at war with the Terrasaurs.

Privately however it is thought the Clones are pleased at CSM being used in a "real" operation and working perfectly. Indeed, they have requested telemetry data of the attack from the Dinos for analysis.

21.9.21

Dino transport destroyed by Terrasaurs

A Provider MX transport has been attacked and destroyed by the Terrasaurs in deep space between Dino-Land and Voth. News of the attack came just hours after the Dinos had claimed victory in their war against the Terrasaurs, however this is still thought to be the case. The attack on the Provider, from which there were no survivors, was an opportunistic strike according to the Dinos and there is clear evidence the Terrasaurs are withdrawing.

Indeed, the Terrasaur ground forces on Apasarra have already begun withdrawing. It is thought Seth has now taken charge of the Terrasaur forces after the death of Crusher.

20.9.21

The Battle of Templeman 615

The Dinos have declared victory in their war against the Terrasaurs after a major battle at the minor star Templeman 615. This was the location of the Terrasaur forward base and, reports indicate, the Terrasaurs suffered a major loss including the death of their commander Crusher.

The battle will not be without controversy however, as it is reported the Dinos used CSMs launched from mobile launchers on Voth as part of the attack. These CSMs were crewed by Clone advisers and intended for training (though with live warheads). The Clones are likely to be angry to have been drawn into the Dino war against the Terrasaurs.

The Dino fleet was led by Ronald. Reports indicate the Terrasaurs lost thirteen ships including their massive flagship battlecruiser, with at least a dozen others damaged. After the battle the remaining Terrasaur ships fled into deep space. The Dinos are reporting seven of their ships were lost, four Dinomark AMs and three PTs.

There are also reports of the Terrasaur ground forces on Apasarra leaving the planet and fleeing. This has not yet been confirmed.

12.9.21

Dinos may be preparing for major offensive

UNP sources are indicating that the Dinos may be preparing for a major offensive in their war against the Terrasaurs. According to reports (which have not been confirmed by the Dinos), Censor Ronald has departed for Voth with a fleet including one of the Dinomark RS battlecruisers.

Dino and Bolitic forces on Apasarra have now surrounded the Terrasaur bridgehead and, again according to unconfirmed reports, have been ordered to hold position for the meantime.

In other news a Dinomark PT was attacked by a Terrasaur ship but managed to escape before any serious damage or injuries occurred.

5.9.21

SS Dinomark destroyed by Terrasaurs

An SS Dinomark XT is reported to have been destroyed by a Terrasaur ship in a hit-and-run attack near Voth. The Dinomark was travelling between two groups of ships when it was attacked. Other Dinomarks were on scene within a minute though the Terrasaurs were already gone.

An unconfirmed report states that the Dinos are going to begin field testing of a new scanner which can detect the ripples in space-time a second or so before a Terrasaur ship "surfaces" from sub-space. If the scanner works it could give the Dinos and their allies vital time to take action.

17.8.21

Bolitic and Dinos battle Terrasaurs near Apasarra

A combined Dino-Bolitic fleet has intercepted a Terrasaur force attempting to reach Apasarra and resupply their beleaguered ground troops on the planet. A Bolitic Snarl was reported to have been destroyed in the battle, three Dinomarks were also badly damaged though survived (with casualties). Three Terrasaur ships were reported to have been destroyed.

The Terrasaur ground forces have been withdrawn to their original landing point and are now surrounded by Bolitic and Dino troops.

12.8.21

Dinomark lost in battle with Terrasaurs

The Dinos are reporting that a Dinomark PT has been lost in a battle with the Terrasaurs near Apasarra. The Terrasaurs were attempting to send supplies to their beleaguered ground forces on the planet, a squadron of Dinomarks intercepted. The Terrasaur ships (said to number three) were forced to retreat after taking heavy damage.

As well as the lost PT, two other Dinomarks suffered significant damage.

9.8.21

Raegris warship skirmishes with Terrasaurs

A Raegris Quasar has skirmished with two Terrasaur warships in deep space. The Quasar was carrying out a survey of asteroids when it encountered two ships, which phased out of sub-space. The ships opened fire on the Quasar causing minor damage and no reported injuries. The Quasar returned fire, hitting one Terrasaur ship. Both ships withdrew and returned to sub-space. It is thought the Quasar was mistaken for a Dino, DTA or Bolitic ship and once the Terrasaurs knew their mistake they called off their attack.

The Quasar has returned to Raegris space.

5.8.21

Terrasaur breakout fails on Apasarra

An attempted breakout by Terrasaur ground forces on Apasarra has been repulsed by combined Bolitic and Dino Army troops. The Terrasaurs are now surrounded on the planet and had tried to break through the cordon to reach a strategic hill some kilometres away. The hill is occupied by the Dinos who use it to direct artillery and air strikes on the Terrasaur positions.

A Bolitic slave legion, flanked by Dino Army and SS troops, stopped the Terrasaur advance and forced them back. The Dinos launched a major attack on the Terrasaurs using Dinomarks and K18D attack aircraft. One Dinomark XT is reported to have been forced down but was able to recover to home positions.

28.7.21

Terrasaurs launch attack on Voth

The Terrasaurs have launched a major attack on DTA forces protecting Voth. Sixteen warships stormed the planet's defences and managed to badly damage the main orbital facility over the planet. It later had to be abandoned and destroyed. The Terrasaur attack was repelled by a combined Dino and Voth force.

Six Dino ships (said to be a Dinomark AM, two LMs and three XTs) and two Voth Kalahati Tuuls were destroyed in the battle. Four Terrasaur warships, including a battlecruiser, were destroyed in return. This was a win for the Terrasaurs however as the loss of the Voth orbital HQ will hinder operations for some time. A Dinomark RS has been despatched from Dino-Land to act as a temporary orbital command post.

19.7.21

Terrasaurs attempt to get reinforcements to Apasarra

A Terrasaur operation to send reinforcements to their beleaguered bridgehead on Apasarra has been largely foiled. The Terrasaurs launched an attack on Dino, Voth and Bolitic forces over the planet but this was a diversion. Six supply ships also attempted to land supplies. One ship managed to land supplies and evacuate some injured Terrasaurs but the other ships were attacked by a joint Bolitic-Dino force. Two Terrasaur supply ships were destroyed.

In the diversion operation a Dinomark XT was destroyed though the crew were able to evacuate. No other ships were lost on either side though a number of ships were damaged.
