Although it was rumoured to be an invasion target for Benito the unaligned Eritran world of Triple Megan has now become a customer of HCS weapons instead in a massive multi-year deal. The planet has no space fleet (though do have a merchant navy) and an outdated military and are to spend 9.7 billion zarks over the next 5 years in readdressing that. Part of the Megan plan though will be to allow the HCS to have a refuelling point in Megan orbit and the HCS will pledge to always have at least one of their warships nearby at all time to "assist" the Meganites.
Phase 1 of the Meganite plan includes 5 Type A transports, 2 Type J oilers and a Type C transport configured for VIP use. Personnel will also begin training with the HCS Space Navy for combat ships at a later stage (probably Shark SKEs though no order has yet been made).
The Meganite army has also ordered 340 T-55ZDM-M tanks, 900 TRV-5HD-M armoured infantry vehicles, 50 ATC-107G self-propelled guns plus around 2000 trucks and field cars and a large quantity of personal firearms and ammunition.
The Meganite air force has ordered 120 F-45AM fighters, 260 A-85NTM COIN aircraft, 15 TR-72M reconnaissance aircraft, 50 C-485 transports and 250 A/C-26WNG-M helicopters plus ordinance and spares. A new strategic communications network and training academy will also be set up with HCS help as will a new underground HQ for the Meganite military.
A HCS commentator has said that having Triple Megan as a customer has bought much more worth and money to the empire than invading them! The deal follows closely on the huge Telvin 802 deal and indicates the Clones are fast catching the DDS in terms of exports.
