Isometric makes history with first unmanned superluminal journey

Development ship SS Isometric has just made it's first unmanned journey at faster than light speeds. The ship is being used by DDS Research for UCV technology development. UCVs are something the DDS have experience with but only in small sub-light ships like the Ferret-E. To the DDS' knowledge no-one has purposely flown a ship faster than light without a crew before (not counting missiles or accidents).

This is a key stage of the Object Blue A project which covers superluminal UCV development. The trip was made near Solaris and lasted nearly 5 minutes. Isometric was taken up to 7c, accompanied by a Pentekonter (Starsystem T101 Beta Centauri which has been seconded to the Object Blue A is undergoing a refit). The next test in a few weeks will be much longer and be at higher speeds.
