Ever since Randalf 74 was added to the Clone Star Empire it has been a rather uneasy possession with the large human population providing the manpower for an insurgency that has waxed and waned over the years.
Randalf 74 is currently fairly quiet yet the Clones have just began an offensive against insurgents, mainly from the radical Communist R74 Fighters group. Two Red Lizard battalions and 6 extra regiments of infantry plus new COIN assets have been sent to the planet and have begun what could be a long and drawn out operation in R74 territory.
The CSE media however are confused by the timing of the offensive as the insurgents have shown signs of losing interest over the last couple of years. One paper is suggesting that the CSE government wish to divert the public's attention from a rather moribund economy.
