Liberation and Malau have been hit by a cyber attack launched from an unidentified ship in deep space near Julantek J4. As with the Blant attack it is not thought the inhabitants of the Julantek system (who are rather isolationist and lack much of the way of a space fleet) are behind it.
Liberation's orbital defence were disabled for a few seconds and the communications hub on Malau was forced to shut down throwing all defence sites on the planet into momentary chaos. Some other secondary systems were also affected. All targeted systems have now been restored.
A DDS ship is currently in the Blant 5381 system looking for the perpetrators of the first attack though have drawn a blank. The identity of the cyber attacks is unknown though both Blant and Julantek lie within 5 light years of the Xeon faction of the 7 Sa Sao's space.
