HCS Fleet News (13/02/10)

As stated earlier the 38th and final Intruder amphibious landing ship has been completed. However a source yesterday has indicated the HCS may re-open production at a later date though this is likely to be after the orders for combat warships have been satisfied.

The first of the 2 ex-Utrek Molentic Tuuls has been localised and upgraded to MTM standard. A 6th Kalahati Tuul has also been restored to service, the ships are now expected to remain in service until 2113. A Type J oiler has left the fleet due to fatigue issues.

The new Kelsan bomber is expected to enter service by the Spring. The first ship in the class is currently on final trials and ships #2 and 3 are about to also enter trials. The HCS are hoping to have their first attack flotilla operational by the end of the year.
