The Dinos will unveil the Dinomark PT Mark 2E (which stands for Evolution) later today, the ship will be built from later in the year for the Dinos and selected DTA members (likely to be Sirikwan and New Arit though no details have yet been given). A Dino Army source said that the Mark 3 PT has been delayed until 2114 but the 2E will be an adequate stop-gap. It is thought the Mark 3 is being redesigned to take heed of lessons learned in the ABBO-Bolitic War.
The Mark 2E will have a modest speed increase though the worm drive speed will be reduced slightly because of power requirements (the speeds are thought to be 900c/4900c depending on drive). The internal arrangement will be modified to allow for a larger weapon load (i.e. TPMs). The Mark 2E will also have improved passive sensors, beam weapons, tactical systems and a new mainframe.
