Aritans buy ex-HCS weapons

With DTA blessing New Arit has placed an order worth 190 million zarks with the Clones for a large quality of ex-HCS equipment (the Aritans are already a heavy user). The sale includes the following from HCS reserve stocks :

• 300 T-88++ tanks and a quantity of spare parts
• 50 older generation T-55Z tanks
• 450 Tapir IFVs plus spare parts
• 50 ATC-107C self-propelled guns
• An undisclosed amount of ordinance for a variety of heavy weapons
• 600 GUT-1A utility trucks

The HCS Exports Agency is also understood to be in talks with Telvin 802 and Howharn (the latter ethnic Eritrans interestingly) for new orders on top of their existing equipment. With HCS cuts likely to badly effect the Clone defence industry and military industrial complex a major push is underway to secure export orders.
