NS has placed an order for twenty new build A-12s (more commonly known as the NDAA or Next DDS Attack Aircraft). The rest of the fleet of one hundred aircraft are currently being updated to NDAA 2.0 standard with an uprated engine and improved systems.
NS has placed an option for thirty more pending available funding. NS plan to keep the NDAA in service until 2150 though will perform a major mid-life rebuild and update in the early 2130s.
