When the new exercise schedule was agreed there was always the chance that the randomly chosen smaller exercises might be run at the same time as one of the "big 4" and this is the case with the first of these: Operation Extra 2120A, President Windscorpion ordered it to start the very day Ground Shock 2120 began!
Extra 2120A will consist of mock space combat near Liberation. The main point is to test NS' ability to rapidly form a combat force while already heavily committed elsewhere. The ships involved are:
