NS have admitted that SS Green Lane has been stolen from a ship dispersal and disposal yard in the Solaris system. An explosion in the yard reported previously is thought to have been the cover for the theft. No debris was found and the ship has now been confirmed to have been taken.
SS Green Lane was a recently withdrawn Deterrence 53A light patrol craft. Although the ship had been withdrawn it was still fully operation and powered up, though decommissioning had been due to commence just before the theft. The identity of the thieves is unknown though the so-called Real DDS are suspected.
