Anderson proposed withdrawing from most of the CSE-E

Admiral Anderson has called an emergency meeting of the tier 1 and 2 leadership of the Clone Defence Forces. The topic being discussed was the worsening insurgency in much of the empire. The head of the Clone Army told Anderson that the army simply cannot maintain it's current tempo, the head of the logistic arm of the Clone Space Navy added that the CSN's transport fleet is overstretched.

Anderson surprised everyone by saying the CSE should withdraw from most of the planets in the CSE-E including Miliaris. He said that independence should be granted to all CSE-E planets apart from Austini 55 and Woloron 12. He said that the planets would have to agree to not joining the Free Eritran States for a lengthy period, and a demilitarised zone be established to protect the CSE's flank.

Withdrawing from Miliaris, Mintjulip, Laalande 21649, Wizard World and Rendrial 4 would allow the CDF to save billions once withdrawal was complete. Transferred troops could be used to reinforce other parts of the empire.

Anderson called on the CDF leadership to agree to his plan (although he does not technically need it). He also called on the Dinos to become involved in the process.

Rocket attack on Clone Navy warship reported

An Ailier class frigate has been attacked by rockets fired from a coastal position. The warship is not reported to have been damaged though one rocket did land fairly close. The warship opened fire on the suspected launching site though later analysis found no traces of insurgents.

Clone Naval Air Service helicopters have conducted a sweep of the coastline though have not found any traces of insurgents.

Explosions reported at Clone Navy port

Three explosions have been reported at Port Meilo, on the Cloneworld continent's eastern coast. The port is shared between commercial shipping and a small Clone Navy base supporting patrol ships. The oil depot is reported to have caught fire, minor damage was caused to a communications centre. No fatalities have been reported though some have been injured.

The Clone Navy is blaming subversive forces linked to the coup plot. Anderson has promised that all subversives will be found and punished.

CNAS attack three targets on Cloneworld

Clone Naval Air Service warplanes have attacked three targets on Cloneworld, said to be part of the attempted coup which was crushed a few days ago. The targets have not been officially disclosed though local news media is reporting that a small Clone Army depot in Yavilanda province was struck and was set ablaze.

An unconfirmed report states that a surface to air missile was launched at one of the CNAS aircraft though did not acquire a target and exploded harmlessly.

Admiral Anderson has called on all CDF personnel to root out traitors and "cleanse the Clone Star Empire".

Final two Kinetic enter service

The final two Kinetic 35C cruisers have entered service with the UNDF Space Fleet. Any further Type 35s will be of the multi-mode Revolution 35Z type.

35-321 Kennet and 35-322 Kildare have now joined the front-line combat fleet. DF also said that the Lynx 35M would be soon resuming to upgrade older ships in the Type 35 family. Upgrades had been delayed due to a shortage of ships after the MBO emergency but this has now become less of an issue.

Cloneworld, Lomar and Sandworld rocked by drone attacks

Miliaris type drones have been used in a half-dozen attacks on the core worlds of the Clone Star Empire. Drones attacked a Clone Naval Air Service base on Cloneworld, and a Clone Army communications relay station. Minor damage was caused to the latter.

On Sandworld two oil fields were attacked by drones, causing a large fire and an explosion which resulted in casualties. There were also two attacks on Lomar, one is thought to have been against the Clone Defence Forces HQ on the planet though this failed, the other was against a major communications antenna which caused enough damage to knock the transmitter out of action.

No one knows who is causing these attacks on core CSE worlds. No Eritrans live on these planets, it is suspected it could be organised by CDF elements opposed to Admiral Anderson.

Attempted coup crushed on Cloneworld

Clone Naval Air Service strike aircraft have attacked targets in the north of Micom province on Cloneworld. Troops from the elite 1st Infantry Division have also entered the northern suburbs of Beyond Micom and seized two warehouses. According to independent reports, a group of army and air force officers were planning to kill Admiral Anderson and launch a coup.

Anderson is reported to have raised martial law on all planets in the empire except Cloneworld and Sandworld. However, there is a heightened state of security on all planets.

Final two Black Triangles completed

When the Black Triangle 126A programme was cancelled, as ships 3 and 4 were almost complete it was decided to finish them. 126-003 Indigo Three and 126-004 Indigo Four have now joined the first two ships and will join them in an ongoing series of trials and exercises.

DF has not decided on the long-term future for the ships. They may be used for combat training though as DF is aiming to reduce costs, the four ships may be mothballed when the trials are completed.

Remedians order more ships

The Remedian Belt have ordered a second Mulberry 111R Command Cruiser to join their current flagship. This is a Yel'Tema cruiser built by the Raegris though is close to DF's Mulberry 36A specification. The delivery date for the ship has not been disclosed.

The Remedians have received their fifth Pentekonter Protector 255R patrol ship, and have ordered a sixth. The delivery date is again unknown.

Air strikes reported on Cloneworld... against CDF targets!

A Dino news source is reporting that Clone Air Force and Clone Naval Air Service aircraft have attacked three targets on Cloneworld. However, these targets are not suspected terrorist sites but CDF facilities. One of the targets was reported to be a Clone Army communication node near Beyond Micom.

One source said that Admiral Anderson ordered the attacks against a suspected plot to launch a coup. However, there is not evidence that such a coup exists. Martial law continues across the entire empire. Anderson is rumoured to have moved to the carrier battle group stationed off the north coast.

Anderson orders martial law across entire empire!

Admiral Anderson has imposed martial law across the entire Clone Star Empire! All civilian activities and movement have been greatly restricted until further notice. Anderson has also ordered that terrorists and subversives will be summarily executed without trial. It has been reported that hundreds of government critics have been arrested and many may have been executed already.

Anderson said that anti-government action will no longer be tolerated. He said that even viewing plans of weapons like the Miliaris drones will be punishable with death.
