The new HCS Liaison Officer for the Dinos Senator Lakes has made a speech to a meeting of Dino and HCS officers on Cloneworld where he said the two empires should work even closer together. "We already co-operate on weapon development but there is much more to be done." he said, "We should work together on information sharing and security co-operation to better defend our respective interests in the uncertain environment to come."
Informal discussions with Dino and HCS officials to the media indicate that both sides are unsure that the DDS can survive the ABBO war but even if they do they will be badly weakened for a decade at least. Analysts think the Dinos are seeking closer links with the HCS in case the DDS falls but also as a counter to DDS power.
