Caratore kills General Honey, calls for uprising against MBO!

In a shocking turn of events, the flagship of Viceroy Caratore rendezvoused with General Honey's ship near Liberation, and then destroyed it! General Honey was killed (though a new clone of him will already be activated). 

Caratore then addressed NS, flanked by Windscorpion and Torus of Real DDS. He said that the MBO rule over New Sparta was over, NS needed to rise up and cleanse itself of the MBO virus. He also said that he was no longer Viceroy, Torus had been restored as NS Commander.

Across the UNP there are reports of gun battles between NS and MBO forces. There are reported skirmishes in space too.

Real DDS claim anti-cloning weapon released on NS, all MBO clones betrayed

Real DDS have hacked into the NS information network and have claimed they have launched an anti-cloning weapon on New Sparta. They said that all NS personnel are now safe from being cloned by the MBO. Existing MBO made clones are also immediately identifiable as they are now bright orange!

The message was blocked by NS but there are reports of dozens of NS personnel now bright orange. Many have been attacked and even killed by other NS personnel.

Viceroy Caratore has not commented on the alleged attack. Indeed, he has joined his ship SS Jurassic and is heading to meet General Honey who is approaching NS space.

NS Medical HQ attacked, DNA database reported destroyed

NS Medical HQ's at DDS City has been attacked by an elite team, though to be the renegade Real DDS. The building was left on fire after the attack, the aim seems to have been the DNA database built up of all current and prior NS personnel. This is used by the MBO to create clones. One source said the database had been destroyed, along with cloning equipment.

ABBOs are back in more dangerous form, the Dinos warn

The dangerous robot menace, the ABBOs, have returned the Dinos have warned and were responsible for the loss of a number of ships over the last few months. A long range patrol, run by thought to have been Real DDS, has investigated the loss of the ships and encountered the ABBOs. They engaged the ABBOs in battle and were lucky to survive according to one source.

The Dinos said that the ABBOs seem to have merged with an organic species of unknown origin. This is thought to make the ABBOs even more dangerous as it makes them more unpredictable.

Boxman appointed The Shiner's successor

The Head of NSIS Special Forces Boxman, who is also head of NS GHQ Security, has been promoted to Head of NS Facilities. This is the latest promotion for Boxman who has flourished in the regime of Viceroy Caratore and is now arguably third in command of New Sparta.

Boxman replaced The Shiner who was executed after being uncovered as an agent of Real DDS. It has been reported that Boxman was integral in catching The Shiner, this later led to NS being able to finally locate the Real DDS base and destroy it.

The Shiner executed for treason

Former DDS Commander The Shiner, the Head of NS Facilities until he was uncovered as a traitor sending information to Real DDS has been executed. It was carried out at NS GHQ earlier today, there was no recorded trial, the execution is said to have been on the direct order of Viceroy Caratore.

In a rare sign of mercy it is reported the execution was swift and carried out painlessly. The Shiner's assistants Tsunami and Robot are reported to have been already killed by NS Security.

Catatore infuriated by Dino protection of Real DDS traitors

Viceroy Caratore has condemned the Dinos for involving themselves in MBO-NS affairs after the Dinos granted protection to the Real DDS when they crossed the border. The stolen ship SS Cicero was pursued by MBO-NS forces but were prevented in crossing the border after the traitors by a squadron of SS warships. It is now understood that the Real DDS have been taken to a secret location in the Dino Empire.

Meanwhile, there is confusion as to the role of SS Infinity in the battle with Real DDS at Charon. One report states it was the Infinity which opened fire on SS Cheetah, destroying it. Another report states the MBO Political Officer killed Akbar for treason. The rest of the crew have been removed from Infinity and have been taken to an undisclosed location.

Real DDS base located and destroyed!

MBO-New Sparta have finally detected the location of the secret Real DDS base, and it was closer than anyone expected. The base was located on Charon, the moon of Pluto in the Terran system. An MBO-NS task force was despatched to destroy the traitors' base. In the ensuing battle the base was completely destroyed though the rebel ship, the stolen SS Cicero managed to escape. Their other stolen ship, SS Green Lane was destroyed.

The Panther cruiser SS Cheetah - commanded by Asian Hawk - was destroyed in the battle with Real DDS, the head of the space fleet General Akbar was also killed aboard SS Infinity. The Cicero is now said to be fleeing for the Dino border, pursued by an MBO-NS fleet. Viceroy Caratore has said the net is finally closing in on Windscorpion.

The Shiner named as arrested NS officer

The senior NS officer arrested for treason has been named as The Shiner, the head of NS Facilities and a former DDS Commander. The Shiner has been accused with passing NS secrets to the so-called Real DDS rebel faction and communicating with traitors.

The penalty for treason at this level in NS is said to be death. No other details have been given but NS GHQ is on a security lock down.

Caratore growing impatient in hunt for Real DDS

Viceroy Caratore is said to be growing increasingly impatient in the hunt for the rebel so-called Real DDS faction of terrorists. The head of NS Security Boxman had to explain to the Viceroy why there still have been no good leads on the location of the Real DDS base. Boxman said that Real DDS activity had been reduced in recent months.

The Viceroy's impatience is seemingly at odds with his earlier statements that he didn't care about Real DDS anymore. However, it is likely he is coming under pressure from the MBO to deal with Windscorpion.

Rome 46K VIP/Command ships to revert to patrol ships

The three remaining Rome 46K VIP/Command ships (one is in the hands of the outlaw so-called Real DDS) are to be reverted to Rome 46A patrol ships. NS is to use the Sting fleet for VIP/upper rank personnel transport from now on and Viceroy Caratore prefers to use his Isometric destroyer SS Jurassic as his flagship.

The Rome 46Ks will retain their extra C3 capabilities but the VIP accommodation will be removed. The modifications will be made during routine maintenance later this year.

Gloves off as NS forces pound asteroids

Viceroy Caratore has ordered the policy of ignoring the so-called Real DDS to be changed to one of wild engagement. Three asteroids in deep space have been struck by NS bombers. All asteroids were thought possible to contain Real DDS bases though later analysis found just rock debris.

More strikes are thought likely as NS analysts come up with a list of possible Real DDS bases, the locations will be attacked even if there is no actual evidence of use.

LRM-50 test aborted due to security breach

The first test launch of the next generation LRM-50 interstellar missile on Solaris has been aborted after a security breach by the so-called Real DDS at the test site. Real DDS terrorists attacked a tracking station that was to be used in the test, disabling it. NS instigated a full lock down of the test site though Real DDS were able to escape justice.

An NS source said the LRM-50 test would take place later this year though only after a full security review of the test site had been carried out.

Real DDS attack on Liberation

The so-called Real DDS has launched an attack on the NS HQ on Liberation, an attempt to assassinate Admiral Gomber who was visiting NS on the planet. Gomber is reported to have repelled the attack and is unharmed.

Gomber led the MBO-New Sparta response to the Real DDS criminal attack, forcing the rebels to flee. MBO-New Sparta has begun a review of senior staff security.

Clones offer safe haven to Real DDS, Caratore enraged

The Clone Star Empire will be a safe haven to Windscorpion's rebel faction the so-called Real DDS, a spokesclone has announced. The Real DDS will be allowed free passage in CSE territory and can use civilian port facilities. They will not be allowed to use military facilities, plus if the Real DDS cause any trouble then the situation will be reviewed.

However, this has enraged Viceroy Caratore who said the Clones were making a deadly mistake. 

Starbotians unveil new ship type

The Starbotians have unveiled a new ship called I-51. The ship is fully autonomous instead of being crewed by Starbotians, indeed the ship can be considered a Starbotian which has been converted into a ship. The ship can also be crewed though only has minimal space inside.

I-51 is said to be highly agile though it's primary role will be scouting. A prototype ship (I-50) is rumoured to have been lost in trials though an unconfirmed report says it was stolen by Real DDS!

Starbotian military chief K-1 said that if I-51 was successful then the Starbotians will build a whole fleet of similar ships.

Dinos demand answers after NS destroy "science base"

The Dinos have demanded answers from New Sparta after the nuclear destruction of a Dino science base (although some sources say it was really a listening station) on an asteroid in a case of mistaken identity. NS say they were acting on intelligence that the base was the hide-out of the so-called Real DDS.

Viceroy Caratore said it was a terrible error, the intelligence officer responsible has been arrested and is being punished.

NS destroy Dino science base just outside of UNP space in "terrible error"

Viceroy Caratore has personally called Emperor MBH to apologise after NS made a "terrible error" in destroying a small Dino science base on an asteroid just outside of UNP space. The base was struck by nuclear missiles fired from two Quasar bombers and was totally destroyed. The crew of five Dinos are thought most likely to have been killed though no remains have yet been found.

An NS source says NS received intelligence that the base was the hideout of the rebel so-called Real DDS but this obviously was wrong. The Dinos have yet to react to the incident. A UNP military intelligence analyst has said (anonymously) that the "science base" was most likely a listening post for UNP and NS signals and data-streams. However, destroying the base is a huge mistake which most likely will have repercussions.

Caratore sanctions Starbot

Starbot has been removed from various intelligence and technology sharing groups by Viceroy Caratore as punishment for perceived assistance by Starbot to the so-called Real DDS rebel faction. Whilst Starbot is not officially helping the Real DDS there is now proof (according to NSIS) that senior Starbotian officials are assisting Real DDS with the full knowledge of the Starbotian leadership.

Starbot will not be allowed to take part in NS exercises and will be downgraded to Tier 2 status if the assistance continues Caratore said. Starbotian Commander S101 has repeated that Starbot is not assisting Real DDS.

Explosions reported at DDS City

There are reports of explosions at DDS City on Proxima 7, the largest base of NS has been put on a full lock down. One unconfirmed report states that Real DDS were operating in the base though whatever their planned target was it looks like they were unsuccessful.

It is reported that a new, previously unknown, unit of NSIS Marines called the Dark Blade Unit (DBU) was involved in the counter-terrorism response. DBU marines are said to have been augmented by bio-medical implants including neural links to their weapon systems.
