Operation Sharp Focus 2119

Running late due an unavailability of ships in late June the annual mine sweeping exercise has just begun. A week of mine sweeping and laying drills (with two Raegris Quasar) has begun near Remedia Prime, the Remedians have also sent one of their ships to join the fleet.

Operation Sharp Focus 2118

The latest operation is the second running of the Sharp Focus mine warfare exercise. A number of mine warfare drills will take place in the core of UNP space near Mars and Terra. The ships to take part will be:

Operation Sharp Focus 2117

Despite thoughts it might be delayed or cancelled the June exercise Sharp Focus 2117 will go ahead as planned. One reason is the theme of the exercise: mine warfare. NS' mine warfare assets are not involved in the anti-piracy operation so can be spared. However the number of ships originally planned to be involved has been cut.

Sharp Focus will involved a number of mine warfare exercises including sweeping and laying (using a Raegris Quasar which will join the deployment next week). The exercises will take place in Remedian space and will be headed by a Remedian ship. The ships involved are:
