CAC have announced work will begin on the next generation of the
K44 Cargoking, the main transport aircraft of the
Clone Air Force. The announcement co-incided with the final transfer of commercial sales and manufacture of the
440, the civil version of the K44, to
Clone Commercial Aircraft. The state owned
Clone Aircraft Corporation will continue to build the military line though CAC and
CCA will work together on future developments.
The
K44NT is not expected until later in this decade and little is known about it as yet however a vee-tail is likely following tests with one of the K44 development aircraft. The K44NT could also have a larger fuselage and a new wing.
- Following a review of the New Vosun situation the DDS have decided to reduce their alert status to CYAN.
