Amid high-security Dino Consul Ronald has visited DDS GHQ for talks with DDS Commander Windscorpion. They discussed the war with the Utrekians and how to proceed reported a DDS spokesman. They also discussed how to try and bring in extra allies into the war to help though its thought they discounted trying to bring in the HCS.
Ronald gave a speech to DDS officers afterwards. He said that together the Dino Republic and DDS would stop the spread of Utrekian tyranny. He also announced that the Dinos and DDS had set up a special joint research group to develop counters to Utrekian weapons and new offensive technologies. The Chief Scientific Officer of the Dinos Dougson accompanied Ronald on the trip and he is said to be busy with Dr Forbidden in setting up the group.
Priority one is to counter the new Reptoli Tuul but Dr Forbidden said to the media that as the Dinos have the teleporter technology themselves they have already helped the DDS develop a way to detect an impending teleport and should also be able to soon fairly reliably "guesstimate" the destination of a teleport. Its reported in return the DDS have assisted the Dinos in improving their multi-phase weapons to true transphasic.
