The power vacuum left by the death of Captain Clone in the CSE-W appears to be being filled by Oojok Madness. HCS watchers have observed much strategic manovering by units and senior commanders loyal to Oojok and a number of mysterious deaths by senior officers known for their strong secularism.
In one example Field Marshal Walnut, head of a powerful HCS division, was accidentally crushed by a T-89 tank when he appears to have been doing some maitenance on the tank underneath it. The driver was unaware the senior officer was (for some reason working on the tank's track) and drove off, killing Walnut. A source at HCS GHQ says Walnut was a keen mechanic and this was a tragic accident.

Redjec badly injured in attack
General Redjec has been badly injured in a serious physical and sexual assault by a gang of Windy Massive members at GHQ. He was found in the gutter by DDS Security, naked and covered in blood. He has received a sustained beating and multiple rapes.
The Orchid has demanded those held responsible be punished. Windy has dismissed the incident as "high jinks".

Oojok laments Captain Clone
Oojok has spoken of his sadness at the death of Captain Clone, on a speech broadcast live across the empire he said:
"Captain Clone was one of the originals, let us not forget that he was there at the start of the HCS. When the Clone Nation was being sent east on the Trail Of Woe by the cruel humans it was Captain Clone who led 827 volunteers to fight back, thus creating the HCS. It was Captain Clone who led the HCS on it's great victories over the humans to reclaim Cloneworld and unite it under the glory of Oojok in Total Triumph.
"Captain Clone is undoubtably a demi-god and his place in the pantheon alongside myself and the other great gods is assured. I feel his loss very greviously. But we must move on and make sure all that he has achieved is not squandered in petty disputes. The empire is stronger than any one Clone, the empire will live on. I call for unity under the glory of Oojok. Let this be an end to the quarrels between the faithful and the secularists. Only united under Oojok can we be strong. Only united under Oojok can we defend against the true enemy.

Oojok calls for calm
The HCS have confirmed that Captain Clone was killed when the CH-26 helicopter he was travelling in was shot down by insurgents on Lornaca Melnig. HCS troops rushed to the scene but Captain Clone was found dead in the wreckage. The HCS has been put on full alert with a curfew raised across the entire Clone Star Empire - West.
One problem the CSE-W has is there are no rules for transition. Captain Clone never defined how his successor should be chosen or even what his official title was apart from "leader". Benito Clone has even suggested he should be the leader now as he leads CSE-E.
Oojok has called for calm though there are signs he is trying to strengthen his position and make his honorary role as Emperor somewhat less honorary. Zone light brigades who have a fiercely fanatical loyalty to Oojok have been placed at strategic locations across Cloneworld along with heavy units commanded by known Oojok loyalists. Captain Clone killed!
There are unconfirmed reports coming in that the head of CSE-W Captain Clone has been killed in an insurgent attack on Lornaca Melnig. One report states his helicopter was shot down with a surface to air missile and he was found dead in the wreckage.
The HCS are refusing to comment though elite units including Zone light brigades have been mobilised. The fleet is understood to be at full alert status.
