FM kill head of CDF on Miliaris

Freedom Miliaris have launched an audacious raid on the government building in the capital of Miliaris, Miliaris City. Ten militants infiltrated the building and attacked a CDF liaison office. Several high ranking officers were killed including General Cuba who was the head of CDF forces on the planet. FM killed his predecessor too!

The militants were cornered in a store room and killed after a vicious fire fight with Clone troops. In response three Eritran villages were attacked by K85 COIN aircraft.

Deterrence leaves service

The last two ships of the Deterrence 53A fleet have been withdrawn, this means the large fleet of patrol ships inherited by NS when they absorbed the UNP Space Patrol have now all been withdrawn. The ships have served well, being the best of the UNPSP fleet, but are now life expired and obsolete.

NS have said they will not build a third generation Type 57 to follow on from the Violet 57B. However, the current order may be increased. NS are considering adding five more to the twenty originally ordered (five of which are yet to be completed).

Dinos put on the spot by NS over Eritrans

The Dinos are allies of the Clones, indeed the Clones' closest allies nowadays. The Dinos are helping to relaunch the Clone ship building industry, two partially complete Sharks are now thought to have reached the stage where they can begin bench testing before the reactor cores are initialised.

But New Sparta is now challenging the Dinos to put pressure on the Clones over the insurgency in the eastern empire, especially on Miliaris. Viceroy Caratore said that the Dinos are complicit with Clone war crimes including the slaughter of civilians from orbital bombardment. He called on MBH and Ronald to put pressure on the Junta to end the conflict.

The Dinos have yet to reply though Head of the Assembly Jimmy is keen to discuss it in the Assembly.

Molab say Clone space attacks will be "responded to in kind"

Molab has threatened to "respond in kind" to the Clones, if the Clones launch another attack from space on ethnic Eritran villages on Miliaris. So far the Clones have not followed up their attacks a few days ago. Freedom Miliaris has also not launched any attacks since though this is thought to be due to them regrouping rather than any decision to stand down.

Molab said they will attack Clone cities from orbit if the Clones continue the attacks on Eritrans. How they will do this is unknown though it is thought they are now operational with the Medium Range Missile (MRM) recently bought from NS.

Bolitic put down rebels

Uprisings against the Bolitic Emperor used to be as regular as clockwork but in the new Confederacy of Emperor Melson they are few and far between as the vast majority have accepted (often grudgingly) the astral-political reality the Bolitic have found themselves in after decades of wars.

However, they can still happen. A minor Baron, Lord Brobek, is the latest to try and rise up against the Emperor. Unfortunately for Brobek no other houses joined him and his uprising was put down easily by the forces of Lord Chamberlain Joshi and Lord Dodek, the two key allies of Melson. Brobek chose to commit ritual suicide, Joshi minced his remains as per tradition.

Clones destroy Eritran villages from orbit

Clone Space Navy Kalahati Tuul S cruisers have launched an attack on ethnic Eritran villages from Miliaris orbit. It is reported two villages were virtually wiped out and a third left ablaze. Freedom Miliaris said there had been hundreds of deaths and vowed revenge.

Several thousand more Clone troops have also arrived on the planet and a dozen K85 COIN aircraft. The Clones have promised Freedom Miliaris will be crushed within weeks.

The Miliaris power grid is still only partially recovered after a recent mass drone attack on power infrastructure.
